D'SYLVA, Joseph George - December 6, 1925 – September 6, 2018
Joe was a sailor who followed his heart.
He was known for his thoughtfulness in remembering special occasions, in being a snazzy dresser with matching accoutrements, and for his deep faith.
He will be sadly missed by his daughters Andrea (Lois), Jo-Ann (Anne), his wife Dorothy and his grandchildren Nicole (James), Tejas and Pratim. He will also be missed by a world-wide circle of family and friends.
He was predeceased by his eldest daughter Marilyn.
The family will receive friends at the Humphrey Funeral Home, 1403 Bayview Avenue, from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 9th. Funeral service will take place in Blessed Trinity Parish, 3220 Bayview Avenue, on Monday, September 10th at 10:30 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Joseph's name can be made to the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul.
