PALUMBO, Maria Ida (nee Grossi) - Peacefully on Saturday, September 8, 2018 in her 96th year.
Predeceased by her husband Giuseppe.
She will be missed greatly by her six children, Raphael (Sharon Buchanan), Sam (Janice), Louis (Bibi), Michael (Pina), John (Bev) and Mary (Stuart MacNeil), her eleven grandchildren, Michael (Jia Yao), Kate, Jennifer (Clark Thomas), Adam, Alex, Julia, Sara, Chris (Leeanna McLean), Danielle, Jake and Cassandra and her two great-grandsons Mason and Jaxon.
She will be missed by her nieces and nephews and their families along with her good friends and caregivers at Villa Columbo.
Visitation will be held at the Bernardo Funeral Home, Toronto on Wednesday from 2-4, 6-9pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Charles Borromeo Church, 811 Lawrence Ave., at Dufferin St. on Thursday September 13, 2018 at 10:00am. Internment will follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada and Villa Charities.
