PARRY, George  - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of George Everton Parry on Wednesday, December 12, 2018, peacefully at the Belleville General Hospital, surrounded by his family.

Born in Toronto on August 28, 1922, son of the late Lambert Everton and Jessie Alice Parry.

He is survived by his loving wife of 74 years Audrey Parry, sons Richard (Heather) and Craig (Donna), grandchildren Andrew, Dylan (Beth) and Jenny (Chris) and great-grandchildren Sam and Olivia.

George was a veteran of WWII, Royal Canadian Navy volunteer and saw action in North Africa, Sicily and on D-Day at Juno Beach on landing craft LCL-125.

In keeping with George's wishes, cremation will take place and a private family remembrance will take place at a later date.

George often expressed his gratitude of the Salvation Army for their support of the troops during WWII, therefore, if desired a memorial donation to that organization would be appreciated. Arrangements with Burke Funeral Home, Belleville.
