Woodward WoodyWOODWARD, "Woody" (Charles Keith)   - February 22, 1927 - December 13, 2018

Sadly we announce the death of "Woody" (Charles Keith) Woodward on Thursday, December, 13th at Credit Valley Hospital.

Surviving is his wife of 67 years, Helen Elizabeth Maude, his children Robin Pittaway (Bill), Elaine Woodward, Leslie Woodward and Jeff Woodward (Marcia), grandchildren Kyle Pittaway (Stacey), Mitchell Pittaway (Hannah) and Lawrence Hartwick, 2 great-grandchildren and sister Joan (Valentini), predeceased by brother Bruce.

Woody was born in Toronto, moved to New Toronto which brought him to Mimico High School where he was a star in football, basketball and track and field.

It was here he met Helen. From high school he entered the Charter Accountant's course, worked as a broker on Bay St., to finally opening his own business, "Fairview Fittings". Not only is it coast to coast in Canada, but is also in the United States. In 2019 Fairview will celebrate their 50th anniversary, a great tribute to the founder.

Although we are sad at his passing we are relieved that finally,

Woody has found peace after his long struggle with Alzheimer's.

A celebration of his life will take place at 2 p.m. Friday, February 1, 2019 at Credit Valley Golf and Country Club, Old Carriage Road, Mississauga.

Donations can be made to the Alzheimer Society or the charity of your choice.
