LAKE, Barbara Ann - It is with great sadness that the family of Barbara Ann Lake announce her passing on January 2nd, 2019 at the age of 69. Barbara passed away peacefully at the Brampton Memorial Civic Hospital.
Barbara beloved wife of the late Peter Lake.
Loving Aunt of many nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by her 5 brothers, 3 sisters, many brothers and sisters-in-law as well as her other family members and friends.
Predeceased by her parents Enid and Cyril Cahill, brothers George and Cyril Jr, and sister Agnes.
Devoted member of the Royal Canadian Legion Ladies Auxiliary branch 609. Barbara enjoyed spending time with her friends and family, music, cards, darts and her dog Miffy.
Family and friends will be received at the Andrews Community Funeral Home, 8190 Dixie Road in the city of Brampton on Saturday, January 19th at 11am to 1pm. A Celebration of Life will be held in the Chapel of the funeral home following the visitation at 1pm. Reception to follow at The Royal Canadian Legion Branch 609, at 1133 Queen street east, Brampton from 2 -5pm.
