He leaves behind his wife of 66 years marriage, Fay / Euphrosine (Lazopulos born Nemea, Greece) & 4 children Patricia (husband Gordon Martin), Sam (wife Evangelia), Michael, and Tom; 10 Grandchildren & 10 Great-Grandchildren.

He is predeceased by his brother Tom, & his sister Stella / Styliani ( spouse Kostas Tsevas ( born Valerio, Greece).

James was born in 1925 in Kerastari, Arcadia, Greece to his parents Sotirios Bazos ( born Kerastari, Greece ) and Panagiota Melingoni ( born Koutroumbouhi, Greece ).

James came to Canada from Greece in 1953. He married his wife Fay & they built a life together raising a family, mindful of his Greek culture & leaving a legacy behind exemplified by example breathing Life & true meaning to the word "FILOTIMOS".
