SGAMBELLURI, Maria - God called Maria peacefully on July 8, 2019 at the age of 85. She is now reunited in Heaven with her loving husband Michele.
Cherished by her dear children, Giuseppe (Rosa), Ida (Alfredo Baranca), and Rosanna. Proud Nonna to 16 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
She will always be remembered by her siblings Antonio (Virginia), Ida (Giuseppe Caruso), Giuseppe Pasqualino (Maria), Angela (Enzo Futia), Michele Pasqualino (Silvana), Cosimo Pasqualino, and sister-in-law Maria Pasqualino. Maria is pre-deceased by her son in law Francesco Futia, her brother Vincenzo Pasqualino, her sister Esterina Figliomeni and brother in law Vincenzo Figliomeni.
She will be held dear in the hearts of her family, relatives, and many friends.
Visitations will take place at the Vescio Funeral Home Woodbridge Chapel (8101 Weston Rd.) on Friday, July 12th, 2019 from 2-4 & 6-9 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday July 13, 2019 at 9:15 a.m. at St. Peter’s Roman Catholic Church (100 Bainbridge Ave., at Martin Grove Rd). Entombment to follow at Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery (on Hwy 27., south of Hwy 7).
If so desired, donations in memory of Maria may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society or to the Parkinson’s Association.
