MARROCCOLI, Gino  -  (May 16, 1968 - August 1, 2019)  -  It is with great sadness the family announces the peaceful passing of Gino on Thursday, August 1st, 2019 at the Margaret Bahen Hospice surrounded by his family.

Beloved husband of Franca. Loving father to Marissa.

Cherished son of Tony and Maria Marroccoli and son-in-law to Maria Buggea. He will be sadly missed by his sister Tina (Don), sisters-in-law Cora (Rob), Luisa (Joe), brother-in-law Vince (Joanne), nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Gino put the lives and needs of others above his own. He had a gift for gathering people together to share some laughs and drink some good wine. He celebrated his life and his final days with the love of family and friends to surround him. He was eternally proud of his daughter Marissa for the strong, young woman she has become and loved Franca, his family and friends with all his heart.

Memorial visitation will be held at Taylor Funeral Home, 524 Davis Dr., Newmarket on Thursday, August 8th, 2019, 12:00 - 2:00 p.m. Memorial Service to follow at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel. Reception to follow.

Donations in lieu of flowers in Gino's memory may be made to the Margaret Bahen Hospice.

A special thank you to Dr. Marcus Butler and team, Dr. David Hogg and team at Princess Margaret Hospital.

Thanks to all the incredible and loving staff at the Margaret Bahen Hospice, Southlake Regional Hospital and Dr. Arnell Baguio and team. The love that you showed Gino in his last weeks of life will never be forgotten.
