Eliza Mast was born May 6, 1924 in Rotterdam, The Netherlands and imigrated to Canada in 1950. Eliza and Adriana married in 1951. He worked very hard at numerous jobs to provide for his fast growing family, then eventually started a successful business, E Mast Landscaping.

He was a member of the Christian Reformed Church and he loved his Lord and he loved to sing. He couldn't be happier than when he was watching a sunrise or sunset with a fishing rod in his hand, often accompanied by a family member.

For most of his life he was blessed with good health and led a very active life enjoying traveling, hunting and fishing. He will be remembered as a strong, generous, trustworthy, fun-loving and affectionate man by all who knew him.

The hole he has left is a big one, but he is more alive now in heaven than ever before and so we rejoice and are comforted.

Resting at Roadhouse and Rose Funeral Home, Newmarket, visitation will be held Friday August 16th  7-9 pm. Private interment at Pine Orchard Cemetery.

Please join us for the Memorial Service to celebrate Eliza's life on Saturday August 17th, 1pm at Covenant Christian Reformed Church in Barrie, 101 Ardagh Road.
