Kloosterman MargaretKLOOSTERMAN, Margaret - It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Margaret Kloosterman on the morning of Sunday, August 11, 2019, at the age of 84.

Loving mother of Carrie Kloosterman (Bradford) and Linda (Kloosterman) and husband Wayne Wood (Ann Arbor, MI).

Loving sister of Sylvia Savage and brother-in-law David Savage (Aurora).

Loving grandmother to Ada Kloosterman and Gabe Spurgeon, Talia and Tyrus Wood. Beloved Aunt to Andrew Savage and Lorraine Hesmondhalgh and Great Aunt to Montana and Kian Hesmondhalgh.

Margaret was born in Nuneaton, Warwickshire, England on July 2, 1935 and emigrated to Canada in 1957 at the age of 21. She was married to Leonard Gerard Kloosterman (predeceased). Margaret spent the marjority of her life in Richmond Hill as a very active member of the Richmond Hill Community.

She enjoyed traveling and exploring across the globe and in her own backyard. Margaret loved visiting the wildlife at the Mill Pond, the view from the Richmond Hill Library, swimming in the mornings, going to the gym in the evenings and rambling around downtown Toronto at every opportunity. She especially enjoyed the Toronto Reference Library.

Margaret has been an active member of Emmanuel Anglican Church for over 30 years, working on many committees and fundraisers and in various volunteer positions. Her wonderful vibrant, intelligent, spirit will be missed by the many friends who have come to know and love her over the years.

Friends may call at the Marshall Funeral Home, 10366 Yonge St., Richmond Hill from 6-8pm Thursday, August 15th.

Service to be held at 3pm Friday in Emmanuel Anglican Church (15 MacKay Drive, Richmond Hill). In honor of Margaret – feel free to wear joyful colours.
