BUCK, Dorothy - (June 3, 1922 – August 22, 2019) - Dorothy Buck passed away peacefully, at New Horizons Towers on August 22, 2019, in her 98th year.
She was born in Oruro, Bolivia, to Baptist Missionary parents Percy and Anna Buck.
She was a loving sister to Jean, Mary and Bill (all predeceased) and a dear sister-in-law to Ruth Buck.
Dorothy was a beloved aunt to nine nieces and nephews, thirteen great-nieces and nephews, and one great-great niece. Dorothy was loved by many friends and family.
Dorothy entered nursing from Moulton College in Toronto and worked for 50 years in Public Health, including 28 years with Easter Seals Ontario. She was an active member of Blythwood Road Baptist Church and was instrumental in the sponsorship of refugee families.
Dorothy’s extended family is grateful for her generous, lively and loving presence in their lives. Special thanks to the staff at New Horizons Towers.

Visitation at Blythewood Road Baptist Church, 80 Blythewood Road, Toronto on August 28th from 10:00 a.m. until time of funeral service begins there at 11:00 a.m. Reception to follow from 12:00 p.m - 1:30 p.m. Witness Cremation at Forest Lawn Crematorium, Toronto at 2:00 p.m.
Interment at Riverside Cemetery, New Hamburg, Ontario at a later date.
