ROLSTONE, Dudley Athelson - It has pleased the Lord to call Dudley to his eternal home on Tuesday September 17, 2019 at the age of 86.
Dudley passed away peacefully at the Michael Garron Hospital.
Dudley has been predeceased by his parents Christopher Rolstone and Caroline Tull, who he was born to on August 13, 1933. His brothers and sisters Iona, Barford, Darnelie, Ismay and Sibil.
He is no longer suffering nor in pain but present with the Lord.
Dudley will be greatly missed by his wife Romaina, and four children; Laura, Caroline, Nicole and Ian. Sister Ina. Grandchildren Arielle, Dante, Calin, Ethan, Shanoia and Serene. Son-in-law Winslow, and daughter-in-law Gillian. As well as nephews, nieces, cousins and many other relatives.
Dudley will be fondly remembered by family and friends as someone who loved the Lord, his selflessness and giving heart, his smile and laughter which lit up any room.
As a father who immigrated to Canada in the late 1960’s Dudley spent his career working as a HVAC technician, while serving as a dedicated member of the British Methodist Episcopal church up until the day he passed away.
Visitation will take place on Friday September 20th from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at Highland Funeral Home, Scarborough Chapel. A funeral service will take place there at 11:00am on Saturday September 21st.
Following the service, interment will take place.
