Bourne HaroldBOURNE, Harold Livingston - April 8th 1939 - Oct 11th 2019 - Beloved father, husband, grandfather, brother and friend, Harold Livingston Bourne passed away on October 11, 2019 in Toronto Ontario.

His quick wit and amazing sense of humor will surely be missed.

On the beautiful island of Barbados on April 8th 1939, Joseph Bourne and Miriam Reid welcomed Harold Livingston Bourne into the world. Harold always spoke fondly of growing up with his siblings Pearl, Roy, Aldrich and Urlic.

As he became older, his ambitions turned to law enforcement becoming a police officer first and then a detective.

While pursuing his career, he met and fell in love with his beautiful wife Zelma Fredericka Gaskin, a school teacher.

Leaving the sandy beaches of Barbados, Harold and Zelma made a life together in Montreal, Quebec, where Harold changed careers opting to work in the Textile Industry and Zelma working in Banking. Together they had two beautiful children, first Gregory Harold Bourne then Tracey Ann Bourne.

Subsequently, Harold welcomed a lovely daughter-in-law Rosie Bourne and wonderful son-in-law Jean Guiteau into the family along with four beautiful granddaughters Teaunna, Teshaunna, Brianna and Layla.

In Montreal, Harold enjoyed being a member of Mount Mariah Masonic Lodge where he actively participated for many years. Recreationally, he enjoyed watching wrestling, hockey baseball, and horse racing.

Towards the conclusion of his life, he and Zelma moved to Toronto, Ontario closer to his children and grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at Chapel Ridge Funeral Home, Markham on Friday, October 18th, 2019 from 1:00pm - 2:00pm followed by the service.
