DiRenzo CarloDI RENZO, Carlo  -  On Tuesday, October 15, 2019, Carlo Di Renzo passed away peacefully in his home.

He is survived by his wife Adriana, his three sons, John, Stephen and Marc, his daughters-in-law, Anisha, Andrea and Madeline, his grandchildren Ilyas and Gemma, his siblings Antonietta and Ralph (predeceased by Melina and Nick), and his many nieces and nephews.

Throughout his 72 years, Carlo demonstrated – through actions – how to show up for others.

In his final months, he seized every second spent with family – hosting barbecues, taking his grandkids to appointments and sporting events, and marathoning Netflix shows with his wife.

In his final weeks, he stopped at nothing to attend his grandson’s hockey games – a ritual he reveled in with all three sons. You can only imagine the joy that swept over him when his granddaughter recently had her first practice.

In his final days, he savoured life’s simple pleasures – playing a Pro-Line ticket, sipping a beer and soaking in Sunday football with the boys.

Thanksgiving weekend will forever be a time to reflect on a loving father and husband whose strength, selflessness, and resilience in the face of adversity, made us all better. For the time we had with Carlo, we are so thankful.

Please join us to honour his legacy and celebrate the life of Carlo Di Renzo. A visitation service will be held on Friday, October 18, between 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at York Funeral Centre (160 Beecroft Rd. Toronto). The funeral will follow on Saturday, October 19 at 10 a.m, also at York Funeral Centre (160 Beecroft Rd. Toronto).

In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society.
