KEFFER, Donna Marilyn (Yake) - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother Donna Marilyn Keffer (Yake) after a long illness from Progressive Supranuclear Palsy.
Born on July 15, 1942 and leaving this earth on November 5, 2019.
Donna grew up in Aurora her whole life and had recently lost the love of her life Larry Keffer (husband for 56 years). Donna was a wonderful mother, friend and caring individual who will be truly missed. Our hearts have been broken but we know that she has passed on to a better place.
Donna leaves behind her three daughters (Kelly, Deanna and Tracey) who cherished her dearly, and six grandchildren that adored her immensely.
Donna was surrounded by her family and their significant others: Kelly (Allan), Deanna (Arnold), Tracey (Rick), Jessica (Tyler) Travis (Brittany), Brandon (Araba), Nicole, Joshua and Matthew. We will miss her smile and her kind hearted ways forever. Donna is also survived by her brother Roy Yake (Lynn) along with many wonderful nieces and nephews.
Visitation for Donna will be held on Monday, November 11, 2019 from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home, 530 Industrial Parkway South, Aurora, ON L4G6W8.
Funeral service will take place on Tuesday, November 12, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. at Aurora United Church, 79 Victoria St, Aurora, ON L4G1R3.
Interment Pine Orchard Cemetery, 2684 Vivian Side Road, Stouffville, Ontario L3Y 4W1.
