HONEIN, Charles Frederick - (January 20th, 1935- November 3rd, 2019) -
Passed away peacefully in his sleep at the age of 84 years old on Sunday November 3rd, 2019.
Beloved and devoted husband of 49 years of marriage to Josephine Honein,
Loving father to Sandra and Michael (Nicole), and Cherished Gedo to Siena, Juliana and Carter.
Fondly remembered by his extended family and friends, Charles lived life to its fullest. He filled our lives and our hearts with love and kindness, and we leaned on him for his endless guidance, his inspiration and his genuine laughter.
His love of music and his desire to celebrate life were contagious. “Work hard to play hard” was his life motto and when he wasn’t on call, working at the hospital or seeing patients at his medical office, you could always find Charles at the beach or at the pool soaking up the sunshine and heat with family and friends.
He retired from medicine at the age of 83. He touched so many lives throughout his medical career and will be remembered for his unconditional care and support.
Visitation will be held at the Kane-Jerrett Funeral Home, 8088 Yonge St, Thornhill on Friday, November 15th from 11am until time of service at 1pm. Entombment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
