McFARLAND, Barbara Joan - (January 14, 1952 - November 16, 2019)
Barbara Joan McFarland passed away peacefully with family by her side at Hill House Hospice, Richmond Hill on Saturday November 16, 2019, in her 68th year.
Wife of Don for 34 years and loving mother of David (Denise) and Tyler (Tarah). Barbara was a devoted, caring mother. She treasured her two boys and embraced every moment with them.
Her joy was made complete when she became a grandmother to Greyson; she cherished her grandson and was eager to share every picture of him for all to see.
Barbara loved to laugh and her strength of character made her a rock for her family. She had a passion for creating beautiful works of art which she shared with many.
Also survived by her sisters Carolynne (Burt)Smith, Donna Kerswell, Wendy (Larry)Hawbolt and her brother in law Bill (Laurie) McFarland and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the Kane-Jerrett North York Funeral Home (6191 Yonge St. south of Steeles Ave.), Toronto on Tuesday November 26th from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm. There will be an interment of her urn following the visiting at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, (375 Mt. Pleasant Rd.) at approx. 2:00 pm.
If desired, in memoriam donations may be made to either the Hill House Hospice or to the Canadian Cancer Society.
