BYRNE, Dermont Patrick  -  Passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 14, 2019 at the age of 89.

Beloved Husband of Patricia for over 59 years.

Loving father to Christopher (Sharon) Carolyn (James) Susan (Peter) and Stephen (Sara). Beloved Grandfather to Kristina, Patrick, Jean-Daniel, Andrew, Kathryn, Megan, Maxine, Jake, Nicholas, Ethan and Sophie .

Dermot was a marine captain and surveyor and in retirement enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

The family would like to recognize the loving care provided to Dermot by the staff at the Barton Retirement Home in Newmarket, with special appreciation to Nicole.

Friends and family may pay their respects at the Taylor Funeral Home (524 Davis Drive Newmarket) on Saturday, November 23, 2019 between 2:00 and 3:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be the same day in the Chapel at 3:00 p.m., followed by a reception.

Dermot will be missed by family and friends.
