DI GIULIO, Giuseppe 'Joe' - With his loving family by his side, Joe passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 19, 2020.
He will be greatly missed by his cherished wife June, his dear sisters Maria (the late Salvatore), and Claudia (Guido), his loving nephews and nieces, and his may dear friends.
Joe was predeceased by his first wife, Jean.
A kind, generous and hard working man, Joe was dedicated above all to his family and was a trusted friend to all who knew him. He came to Canada from Civitavecchia Italy as a teen, with his sisters and his parents, Amadeo and Angelina, and set to work shortly after, eventually becoming a partner in the firm National Dry, Co. Ltd., a business & his passion, where he worked until just a few years ago.
Joe loved life, travel and good company, He was such a good man. He will be lovingly remembered and sorely missed. He will also be missed by his beloved German Shepherd Heidi.
Visitation will be held at Bernardo Funeral Home, Dufferin Chapel, Toronto on Tuesday January 21 from 4-8 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday January 22, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. with burial to follow.
In memory of Joe, donations may be made to the Salvation Army.
