Dovgala KayDOVGALA, Kathleen 'Kay' (Quinlivan) - (August 12, 1941 - January 23, 2020) - It is with a shot of fireball and many tears that we announce the passing of Kathleen (Kay Quinlivan) Dovgala.

Kay had a zest for life and an inexhaustible desire to make the most of every moment. She valued her friends and family and never missed a chance to bring them together to play, dance or sing. Her positivity, bright demeanor and capacity to love will live on in the many people she touched throughout her life.

Kay was born one of three children, in Del Norte, Colorado, and grew up in Laramie Wyoming. She moved to New Jersey where she married and was blessed with three lovely children. In 1976 she moved with her family to Canada where she enjoyed the remainder of her life.

She was a woman of many talents. She taught swimming, sold real estate, and marketed internet phones in its infancy. She worked hard, had integrity and always lived with her glass half full. She kept active and engaged with her friends until she was no longer able and never gave up hope, saying her illness was a hiccup in her life plan. She has left us with many fond memories and a multitude of laughs.

Kay leaves behind her sister Patricia Eubank (Florida), her brother Leo Quinlivan (Cheyenne, Wyoming), her children, Stacy (Dave), Deb (Dan), Tom (Liana), her grandchildren Eric, Timothy, Jeffrey, Heather, Christopher, Jaala (Steven), Christian, Jackson and her many beloved nieces, nephews and friends.

Services will be held at Taylor funeral home, 524 Davis Dr., Newmarket. on Tuesday, January 28th, Visitation 2-4pm, Memorial Service 4-5 and Reception to follow.

Donations can be made to the Aurora Legion Branch 385 for their new roof, or to the Special Olympics https://www.canadahelps.org/en/charities/special-olympics-ontario-inc/
