CHONG, Young-Soo Kwak - With great sadness we announce the passing of our family matriarch, Young-Soo Kwak Chong, on Friday, January 24, 2020, at 11:10 pm at Brampton Civic Hospital.
She was 103 years old and passed away peacefully in her sleep.
Young-Soo Kwak Chong was born October 25, 1917. She was married to her late husband Soo-In Chong.
They were blessed with seven children – Yong-Chu Chong (Eun-Jin), Sunny Lippold (Richard), the late Eun-Jo Lee (Jong-Yung), Suk Joo Chung, Myong Jones (Michael), the late Sung-Joo Chong (Eun-Kyung) and Young Glover (Dave).
Loved grandmother to Johnny and Jack Chong; Daniel and Larry Lippold, Maura Scanlon, and Laura Vakian; late Chan and U-Chan Chung; Edward and Dennis Lee; Eugene Chong and Sarah Lee; Christopher Kargel; Cory Jones.
Loved great grandmother to Quinlan and Alexia Chong; Nathan Lee; Amy, Katarina, Morgan, Sebastian, Colleen, Natasha and Moira Lippold; Avery and Ben Chong; Selina and Belinda Chung; Connor Vakian; Jonah Lee; Kaius and Kalise Kargel.
