O'MARRA, Linda Catharine - (March 14, 1943 – January 27, 2020) - With extremely heavy hearts we announce the passing of Linda Catharine O’Marra peacefully after a long and courageous battle.
Cherished mother to Daniel (Claire), Michael (Coral) and Jeffrey (Val). Loving grandma to Kiana, Nathan, Oliver and Diego. Linda leaves behind many brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews, as well as friends and extended family.
Linda was a dedicated, caring nurse and teacher to children with special needs who left a great impression on many peoples’ lives.
She was deeply involved in the Catholic community and held her faith proudly. In 2017 she celebrated her 15th Year Membership in the Catholic Women’s League.
Friends and family will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 52 Main St. South, Brampton on Thursday, January 30th from 7-9pm.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Marguerite D’Youville Catholic Church, 2940 Sandalwood Parkway East, Brampton on Friday at 10:30am. Interment to follow at Assumption Cemetery.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or your local Humane Society would be greatly appreciated.
