Catenacci Mary AnneCATENACCI, Mary-Anne   - December 22, 1931 - February 13, 2020

It is with tremendous sadness that we announce the passing of our beautiful mom.

Surrounded by the love of her family, who within hours gathered together from across the US and Canada to be by her side.

She and our dad Gerald Catenacci would have celebrated their 69th anniversary this year.

She was the Best Mom to Anthony (Luz), Marlene (John Winning), Judy (Mark Clearihue), Maryanne (Steve Pipe), Peter (Michael Kuchs), Lou-Anne Haier and Gerry (Janet).

Amazing grandma to 15 grandchildren. Melissa (Heston) Lauren (Alex), Lisa-Marie (Dave), John Jr. (Stephanie), Ryan (Shelley), Sean, Marissa (Mike), Michelle (Mike), B. Michael (Maria Su), Alison, Emily, Maria (Mike), Michael, Daniela and Thomas.

Great-Grandma to 7: Hayes, Ada, Ben, Lauren, Caroline, Addyson and Connor. Will be missed by her siblings Josephine Pirri (the late Anthony), Augustine Montanera (the late Gino) and Joe Badali (Anne).

Mom will always be remembered as a strong, smart and determined woman who together with our dad raised 7 children.

We will always have fond memories of the delicious meals she could whip up for our large family gatherings.

Christmas, Thanksgiving and all other celebrations were always filled with love and laughter. She was always practical and knew how to make a dollar stretch.

But above all else, she was a mother who faced all challenges head on and has taught us so many lessons in life that each one of us will never forget.

Funeral Mass to be held Monday, February 17th at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 3055 Bloor St. W. Refreshments to follow immediately after Mass in the church hall.

REST IN PEACE MOM.
