Francescutto AldoFRANCESCUTTO, Aldo Pasquale - A long-time resident of Toronto, died the evening of Wednesday, February 19, 2020 at the Harold and Grace Baker Centre.

Aldo, son of Cecilia Chiarotto and Nicolo Gioachino Francescutto, was born in 1934 in San Vito al Tagliamento, Pordenone, Italy. Aldo grew up alongside his two sisters, Alba and Ada, and his brother, Silvano.

In 1955, Aldo met Bruna Brovedani (1939 - 2019) and on February 1st, 1958 they were married in Savorngano, San Vito al Tagliamento. That same year, Bruna and Aldo emigrated to Canada where they remained married for sixty-one years.

Aldo worked in construction to help provide for his family’s needs. By the mid-1970’s, Aldo became a Canadian citizen.

Aldo was a person of strong conviction, extreme creativity, encouraging of the attempts of others to endeavor, and enjoyed the company of family and friends.

Aldo is survived by his sons, Robert and Edy, his daughters-in-law, Miriam and Erin, and grandchildren, Oliver and Spencer; all of whom brought him much joy.

We would like to thank the diligent doctors and nurses at Humber River Hospital for extending to our father the utmost of care and comfort.

Visitation will be held at DeMarco Funeral Home, Toronrto on Sunday, March 1st, 2020 from 2:00pm - 6:00pm. The service will take place at theKindly visit the Funeral Home on Monday, March 2nd, 2020 at 10:00am.
