MILLER, Gary Earnshaw - July 8, 1938 - February 23, 2020 - Passed peacefully in the early hours of Sunday, February 23, 2020, at the age of 81.
Loving father of Ted (Cheryl), Claire (Ray) Allen and Peter (Sarah).
Proud grandfather of Hailey, Braeden, Alyssa, Emily, Liam, Evan, Owen, Holly and Alexandra. Great-grandfather of Addison.
Beloved brother of Peggy (Al) Calhoun and Jim (Susan).
Former husband and cherished friend of Suzanne.
Further survived by loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and cherished friends.
Gary will be fondly remembered by family and friends as a loving father, a decorated Sergeant with the Toronto Police Service, a distinguished Ontario Justice of the Peace, a tenor in both the Metropolitan Toronto Police Male Chorus and Forest Grove United Church Choir, and a columnist for the Metropolitan Toronto Police Association News and Views Magazine and Blue Line Magazine.
Special thanks to the incredible team of the Aspen unit of Orchard Villa Long Term Care, Pickering, for their love of Gary. There aren't enough words to express our deep appreciation.
Celebration of life to be held Friday, May 22, 2020 at 2:00pm at The Lake House, 600 Liverpool Rd, Pickering, ON L1W 1P9.
