Letman TaylorLETMAN, Taylor Willow  - (October 7, 1992 – February 23, 2020) -

Taylor Willow Letman, of Etobicoke, Ontario, passed away on February 23, 2020.

Taylor’s early years were filled with smiles, hope, comfort, and the love of her parents, Bryan and Laura, and sisters, Kenzie and Bailee.

She was always close to nature, including the willow tree that shaded her laughter-filled upbringing in the backyard of her Etobicoke home, or the lake at the cottage. She loved the cottage; from basking in the sun to raking leaves in the fall to playing hockey on the lake, it was always her happy place.

Taylor was a firecracker. She had an energy that was unmatched by the rest of us. From the time she was a toddler she was tough, fearless, and unstoppable. She was quick to laugh and her adventurous spirit was contagious. She always wanted to try new things, from crafts to sports to food.

She had a work hard, play hard attitude; she knew her downtime was well deserved. She was wildly independent, but she was also sentimental and a deep thinker. She found special meaning in things that would otherwise seem commonplace. She was kind, caring, and considerate to her friends and loved them fiercely.

From a young age, she loved crafting and making things with her hands. In adulthood, she felt happy and excited by her work in construction and was looking forward to a long career in carpentry. She was always learning and making plans and had aspirations of travel.

Taylor lost her battle with addiction at the age of 27. She is survived by her mother, Laura; father, Bryan; sisters Kenzie and Bailee; and many friends, aunts, uncles, and cousins who will miss her tremendously.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate a donation to The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health: https://www.camh.ca/en/get-involved/ways-to-donate.

Visitation will be held at Newediuk Funeral Home, 2058 Kipling Ave., Toronto on Sunday, March 1st from 1 - 4pm.
