LEWIS, Velma - It is with great sadness we announce the loss of our loved one Velma Lewis, 88, who passed away March 22, 2020.
Velma, will live on in the thoughts and shared memories of her loving family, friends and her church family.
She was predeceased by her parents Leopold and Isabelle Sarah Lewis.
Velma is survived by her LEGACY of children: Marcia, Rosemarie, Duncan, Paul, grandchildren Malikah, Haneefah, Suhir, Quintin, Keshia, Brandon, Nahshon, Yusuf, Sharifa, Shawna, Danielle, Sabrina, great-grandchildren Janae, Avery, Adrian, Josiah, Jeremiah, Jazarah, Gabrielle, Matthew, Gabriella and Kaia, siblings Rudolph, Hyacinth, Kelly, Pat, Hortense, Norman, Winston, and Everton.
The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to everyone for their support, prayers, and sympathy during this time of loss.
Due to health restrictions, a private service will be held for family and friends by invitation only. An event celebrating Velma’s life will be held in the future when the situation permits. Arrangements with Ogden funeral home, Scarborough.
