Evangeiista BettyEVANGELISTA, Betty - With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Betty on March 24, 2020 at Woodhall Park Care Community in Brampton.

She was born in Polillo, Quezon, Philippines on January 25, 1949 to Rosita Rutaquio and Pedro Aumentado.

Betty is a beloved wife to Timoteo Evangelista, Jr.

A loving mother to Anjanette, Merwynna, Tim and Celeste.

A cherished sister to Frank, Nimfa, Racel, Horace, Cleo and Raymond.

A caring mother in law to Victorino, Pedro, Arlene and Ryan.

A nurturing grandmother to Khailyr, Leighla, Ziannah, Kaitlyn, Alexander and Arabella.

Bettys’ life was a living example of the bible verse 1 Corinthians 13:6-7 "Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trust, always hopes, always perseveres.”

Bettys’ life was led by her faith in God and love for her family, loved ones and friends. She has been a pillar of strength to her husband and children. She nurtured us with her unconditional love and affection. She taught us never to give up in life and to always have hope. She guided us in each stage of our lives and sacrificed a myriad of things that shaped the people that we are today. She taught us to faced challenges head on without fear or hesitancy by letting our faith guide us. All these, she did out of love for her family and her undying faith in God.

Betty will be laid to rest at Brampton Memorial Gardens on March 30, 2020. Due to the current mandate of the Ontario government regarding social distancing, we regret to inform you that we have decided that both visitations and funeral are restricted to family members only. However, when this pandemic settles down, we will set a date and invite friends and loved ones to come and join us for a Celebration of Life to honour Betty and the legacy she has left us.

Our family would like to thank the staff and leadership team of Woodhall Park Care Community, Lakehouse unit for taking good care of her. Additionally, we would like to express our profound gratitude for everyone who visited her at Woodhall and for those who offered prayers, words of sympathy and support for our family during our time of grief.

Mama Bettys’ memory will always be in our minds and forever in our hearts.
