Armstrong RonARMSTRONG, Ronald Jackson - Ronald Jackson Armstrong, 74 of Milford Bay, ON, succumbed to terminal cancer at Credit Valley hospital with his loving wife by his side, on March 28, 2020.

Ron is survived by his wife of 53 years Joan, son Terry, daughter Kelly, son-in-law Robert, grandsons Mason and Myles, brother Jim, sister-in-law Carol, and sister Joan.

Ron was a loving father, husband, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend to all.

Ron enjoyed life to the fullest and took an early retirement from the Toronto School board, to enjoy his later years in the Muskokas and snow-birding to Florida in the winter months.

Until his last days, Ron stayed committed to being hopeful and positive while not changing his personality and continued to voice his opinion. Ron enjoyed spending time with his family at the cottage, fishing, golfing, and watching his grandkids play (his favourite sport), hockey.

The family would like to thank Princess Margaret and Credit Valley hospital doctors and nurses for taking such good care of Ron over the last 6 months. Also a special thanks to the support workers and nurses who visited Ron daily while he was receiving home care.

A celebration of life ceremony will be planned at a later date when it is safe for everyone to attend. Arrangements with Scott funeral home, MISSISSAUGA Chapel.
