PILOLLA, Leonarda - Beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She passed away peacefully on Friday April 3, 2020.
Leonarda was a wonderful, loving and kind person. Leonarda enjoyed playing scopa with her husband for hours. Leonarda was the happiest when she was cooking delicious meals for her family and friends.
She was a silent fighter and warrior these past few years. She managed to overcome obstacle after obstacle. Dementia had robbed her of who she was and towards the end she found it difficult to communicate, but we knew she was happy to see everyone.
Beloved wife of Nicola (deceased), children Cecilia (Sam) Belmonte, Rosa (Tony) Caputo, and Matteo (Anna) Pilolla, and grandchildren Angela and Anthony; Christopher (Jiegette) and Michael; Nicholas and Angelo; great-grandchildren Gabriel and Daniel.
Visitation will be held at Highland Funeral Home Scarborough Chapel, 3280 Sheppard Ave. E, on Tuesday April 7, between 5 – 7 pm.
