BABSTOCK, Robert Gary - Peacefully at his home surrounded by family on April 8, 2020 in his 66th year.
He will be greatly missed by his many friends and family. Bob was loved for his easy sense of humour and his signature jokes, spending time with “the boys” in his man-cave, driving around in his 66 Chevy Impala SS and his endless love for his wife and his family.
Bob enjoyed music and could often be seen relaxing in his infamous Pink Floyd pajama pants. He also passed along his love for watching thunderstorms and Walt Disney movies to his children and grandchildren.
Bob spent his most enjoyable moments at his trailer in both Buckhorn and Bobcaygeon and for the past few years in Florida.
Survived by his wife, Shirley Babstock (Gillis), his children; Brad (Andrea) Humphrey-Babstock, Crystal Rice-Babstock, Shannyn(Sarjoon) Babstockand Bryan (Linzie) Babstock; grandchildren Mackenzie, J.J., Taylor-Anne, Connor, Ronin and Nyomi; siblings Sandra Boggan, Mary Edwards, Barbara Hawkins and Paul Babstock and his many nieces and nephews.
A service will be held at a later date in his birthplace of St. John’s Newfoundland and Labrador.
