Adamo VitaADAMO, Vita - Age 93, died peacefully in May 20, 2020 with Covid-19 at Toronto, Ontario. Loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, sister-in-law and friend.

She was born on November 11, 1926 to parents Pasquale Angelo and Antonia Gruppuso in Salemi, Trapani, Sicily.

She was preceded in death by her siblings, Antonina Marrone (Nicola), Andrea Angelo and Antonino Angelo.

She is survived by her brother Vito Angelo.

She was also preceded in death by her in-laws, Sarina Adamo (Diego), Rosa Angelo, Vito Adamo (Paolina), Antonino Adamo and Antonino Buffa.

She was preceded in death by her dear husband Diego Adamo. They were married on April 24, 1954 and they immigrated to Canada in 1957 with a future of building a better life for their family.

She is survived by her children Francesca Gucciardi (Pino), Antonia De Luca (Tony) and her grandchildren Giuseppe Gucciardi (Elisa), Diego Gucciardi, Peter De Luca (Tracy) and Adam De Luca (Cristina) and her great grandchildren David, Jessica, Hayla, Keagan and Matteo.

She is also survived by her in-laws Antonina Buffa, Franca Angelo, Rosa Adamo and Lina Angelo.

She loved her family dearly including all her nephews and nieces and friends. Her smile was contagious and was a strong and loving woman always giving encouragement. She will be terribly missed and she will forever be in our hearts.

Due to the current restrictions on gatherings; a private funeral service is being held. When permitted a celebration of her life will be held.

In lieu of flowers donation to Covid-19 Canada food bank or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
