LERRA, Paolina Clelia - It’s with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Paolina Clelia Lerra on May 21, 2020 at the young age of 91.

Clelia was born on January 25, 1929 in Campobasso, Italy she joins her predeceased husband Mario Lerra and her granddaughter Sandra.

Clelia will be greatly missed by her two children Lucy (John) and Frank (Cristina). Her grandchildren Paula (Scott), Tanya (Chad), Angela, Diana (Josh), & Shawna. Her Great grandchildren Tatiana, Lucas, Emilia and Brayden.

Clelia was a little woman with a huge presence; a loving wife and mother, the best Nonna and Biss Nonna anyone could have. Her passion and her spirit was fierce, she instilled strength, perseverance and determination in all of us. She always said as women we had to be strong and independent and she always modeled that.

She shared her love of gardening, cooking and baking... even though she never ate what she baked it was always for everyone else! Playing cards was a favorite past time but even more so when she would win or cheat with a nine up her sleeve.

We will all do our best to honour your legacy and try to follow in your footsteps. Even though none of us will ever get your recipes right, we know that you will be smiling from above knowing that we left out the most important ingredient, Nonna’s touch!

Funeral Service will be held at Ward funeral home, Woodbridge Chapel.

You always said “I’ll sleep when I die” so now you can finally Rest In Peace. We will all miss you so much, until we meet again.

Love you forever.
