Ridley DeniseRIDLEY, Denise Lynn - June 5, 1964 – May 16, 2020 - It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of Denise who passed away on May 16, 2020 at the age of 55 following a four year battle with cancer.

Denise was predeceased by her beloved mother Elizabeth (Betty) Ridley (nee Trachtulec).

She leaves behind her partner of fourteen years, Lynda Micallef, her father John (Annie), her brother Larry (Ruth), her sister Charlene (Linda), her brother Stephen, her sister Kim (Darin) and all her loving nephews, nieces, great nephews, great nieces, cousins and their extended families as well as a host of long-time friends.

If you knew Denise you knew her love of children, animals, music (Barry Manilow) and the Toronto Maple Leafs; you knew her sense of humour, you may have met her Gemini twin and you embraced all that she was.

Love and protect your children; spoil and over feed your pets; make a toast to enduring friendships lifelong and beyond; and ... when it’s safe for the NHL to play again say; “Go Leafs Go!” That’s what Denise would wish for.

Her cremation is taking place and although a celebration of her life is not possible at this time, it will be arranged as soon as it is safe to do so.

“ .... Near, far, wherever you are
I believe that the heart does go on
Once more you open the door
And you're here in my heart
And my heart will go on and on ....”
