SIMONE, Rita - With a heavy heart our mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother Rita Simone (nee DiMatteo) passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 20, 2020 in Toronto, Ontario.
Born Rita DiMatteo in Roccomorice, Pescara, Italy on January 15, 1927, she married the love of her life Cesidio Simone (deceased July 1993) and in 1954 came to Canada to grow and build their family.
She leaves behind her four loving daughters: Agnes (Gilles), Mary (Frank), Sue (Moens) and Marlene (Giancarlo).
She will be forever missed by her ten grandchildren: Jill, Joey, Sabrita, Anthony, Gianpaul, Andrew, Matthew, Jesse, Alex and Erika and her adoring ten great-grandchildren.
We will love you forever, miss you always until we meet again.
