Fernicola PaulFERNICOLA, Paul Vincent - (February 10, 1943 - May 22, 2020) - Affectionately, known as FUZZY, Paul will be missed by so many. His family and friends came first.

Born in Toronto, Paul found comfort in his cottage on Woodland Beach. This cottage of nearly 40 years also became his home. Paul built his life on the success of a Vending Machine business he shared with his brother Joe.

A prize possession to Paul was most certainly his 1929 Ford Model AA classic truck, which he was known to drive along the sunny beaches of Tiny and Wasaga.

As a child Paul was an Alter Boy at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Toronto. It was in these early years that it had been instilled by his father the importance of friends and family. Values that would remain with Paul throughout his life. Many of his best times involved his family, particularly time spent with siblings and cousins.

In the 1990’s Paul had the chance to travel to Italy with his father. A trip of a lifetime for certain. They set out to rediscover their heritage and in a small café they found a connection to family they could never have imagined. They spent the remainder of their trip celebrating with family. The relationships carried through to the end and even included a visit back 5 years ago to celebrate the wedding of a cousin.

Paul has been welcomed into Heaven with arms wide open, but he will certainly leave an empty space in the hearts of those left here without him. As said earlier, Paul made everyone feel special. He was known to tease of "his favourites” but we were all his favorites, as he was ours. ~ The Fernicola Family

Arrangements with Ward funeral homes. Private Burial with a Celebration of Life to take place at a later date.
