MAURO, Ida - It is with profound sorrow, we mourn the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, sister and aunt Ida Mauro, on May 24, 2020 at the age of 87.
Predeceased by her beloved husband Raffaele (September 23, 2018).
Cherished mother of Cathy, Nella (Mike Peltenburg) and Sandra (Luis Sousa).
Proud Nonna of Daniel, Aaron, Adam and Mitchell.
Forever remembered by her siblings, she will be missed by her many nieces, nephews and their families.
During this unprecedented situation with COVID-19, it is with very heavy hearts that our family has made the difficult decision to hold a limited attendance funeral with our immediate family, in honor of our dear mother, grandmother, sister and aunt, Ida Mauro.

We would like to thank St. Michael’s Hospital specifically the Nephrology Department and those who were involved with our mother’s excellent care during and after her illness specifically Mario Mandarino, and Graca Maria Nunes. We, the family thank you all and will never forget.
