Paleologou KomnasPALEOLOGOU, Komnas - Passed away peacefully and surrounded by family at home on Monday May 25, 2020 in his 87th year after a long battle with Parkinson's.

Beloved husband of the late Olga Paleologou (2008).

Loving father of Elizabeth Karayannopoulos and her husband Constantine and Spiros Paleologos and his wife Katina.

Loving grandfather of Ethan, Justin and Alex Karayannopoulos and Olivia and Celia Paleologos.

Dear brother of Paleologos Paleologou and his wife Evangelia and will be sadly missed by his niece Despina and his nephew Spiro and their families.

Fifty-five years ago, Komnas came to Canada with a single purpose – to make a better life for his family. Measured by that standard, his life was a tremendous success. We will always be grateful for his courage, hard work and personal sacrifices that made our lives so wonderful.

We took our father’s love for granted because he gave it quietly and selflessly. It is now that we appreciate how deep and limitless his love was. His life’s philosophy was based on friendship, honesty, sincerity and charity and he found no greater pleasure than the company of his grandchildren. Our father and grandfather will be greatly missed and forever in our hearts.

Due to the pandemic, a service will be held with immediate family on Thursday May 28th at Heritage Funeral Center and St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church.

In lieu of flowers, and if you care to do so, please make a donation in Komnas’ name to Parkinson's Canada.
