Di CARO, Concetta - God called Concetta peacefully on June 1, 2020 at the age of 87.

She is now reunited in heaven with her husband Giuseppe and rejoins her father, mother and her siblings Luigia, Giuseppe, and Fedele.

Cherished by her dear children, Bill (Lisanne), Jackie (Michael Nagy) and Joanne (Nick). Proud Grandmother to Alexandre (Vicenza), Stefan, Quentin, Alexa, Michael, Thomas and adoring great-grandmother to Julian. Concetta will always be remembered by her sister Gianna Noto.

She was born in Delia, Italy during the Depression and lived through the Second World War. She married and had two children before the family immigrated to Toronto, Canada. Her fine sewing skills garnered her a job within a few days in Toronto working as a seamstress.

Concetta was very sociable and made long lasting friends easily. She doted on her family and grandchildren whenever she could. She will be held dear in the hearts of her family, relatives, and many friends.

Private family visitations will take place at the Vescio Funeral Home Maple Chapel (211 McNaughton Rd. East) with a private entombment to follow. We are honored and pleased to be able to webstream the private visitation on Thursday, June 4th, from 1-4 pm, as well as the funeral service on Friday, June 5th commencing at 1:00 p.m. The link to the live webcasting can be found on the funeral home website, in the “Photos and Videos” section of the obituary.

Donations in loving memory of Concetta may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
