Britton ChrisBRITTON, Chris Paul - On Tuesday, June 9, 2020, Chris Paul Britton, loving husband and father, passed away peacefully at the age 56 with his wife and children by his side.

Chris was born on August 10, 1963 in Clarendon, Jamaica. He attended Camperdown High School and the University of the West Indies in Jamaica.

In 1991, Chris migrated to Canada, where he later met his wife Sharon and they had two wonderful sons, Jermaine and Justin.

Chris was known for his kind and compassionate heart and took delight in ensuring that everyone around him was happy and worked hard to provide his family with the best. His love of sports was eminent, because he enjoyed playing soccer, badminton and exercised at the local gym. He especially loved to play and coach his sons, and played with local soccer teams around Toronto.

Chris is survived by his wife, Sharon, sons Jermaine and Justin, his mother Retinella Grant, his brothers Michael Wilmott and Patrick Gordon, his sisters Grace, Jackie and Michelle Grant and many other cousins and relatives. Also he is remembered by many friends who were touched by this compassionate and kind heart.

A Private Family Funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 18th at 1 pm, at Ogden Funeral Home, Scarborough. For those who are not able to attend, there will be livestream of the funeral service.
