Feeney JoAnnFEENEY, JoAnn Carole - (December 11, 1940 - June 25, 2020) -

Passed peacefully in hospital on June 25, 2020 with her children at her side. JoAnn was called home to God after a courageous 9-year battle with cancer.

She is survived by her children Mark (Sharon), Lisa (Scott Bowers), Jennifer (John Svab), and Sean (Michelle), and her 8 grandchildren Thomas, Brenda, Jason, Bronwen, Devon, Declan, Ireland and Logan.

She is also survived by her brothers Larry Organ (Carol) and Don Organ (Claire) and sister Patricia Page (Bill). JoAnn was predeceased by her parents Peggy and Jack Organ.

JoAnn will be remembered for her feistiness, infectious laughter and her warm heart. She was an avid reader and loved going to the theatre or to lunch or playing bridge with her many groups of friends.

JoAnn’s pride and joy was her family. She enjoyed her sibling vacations and spending time with her kids and grandkids. We love you Mom and appreciate everything you have done for us during your lifetime.

We will have a celebration of life at a later date. Arrangements with Kane-Jerrett funeral home, Thornhill.

The family would like to thank Dr. Redstone, and the staff of the ICU at Mackenzie Health Centre and JoAnn’s home care team PSW Cheryl and RN Alex who took such good care of her.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations in JoAnn’s memory to Sick Children’s Hospital.
