FERREIRA, Vitor - January 6, 1941 - July 11, 2020 - Peacefully with Maria Celina by his side, Vitor passed away at home on Saturday, July 11, 2020, in his 80th year.
Beloved husband of Maria Celina.
Adored father of Paula Ferreira and partner Tony Rocha, Joe Ferreira and his wife Melissa, Derik Ferreira and his wife Christine, and his four-legged companion Buddy.
Cherished grandfather of Victoria, Matthew, Luke and Sadie, all of whom were the light of his life.
Vitor is survived by his brother Joao and his wife Edite, his brother Antonio and his wife Lidia and nieces and nephews back home in Portugal.
Vitor arrived in Canada in 1973 in search of better life for his family. He was devoted to his family and was happiest when the whole family was together eating and drinking. No one can barbeque like Dad, and we will all miss his master barbequing skills.
Dad was a man of few words, but anyone who knew him would tell you his love and kindness spoke endlessly. He had a very funny and subtle sense of humor. He wanted nothing more than love and happiness for his friends and family. He will be dearly missed everyday and forever.
Arrangements with Cardinal Funeral Home, Toronto. The service will take place at St. Helen's Catholic Church, 1680 Dundas Street West, Toronto on july 15th at 10:00 AM.
