SILVERSTONE, Doreen Sydelle - 85, passed away on July 14, 2020, after battling a long illness with lung cancer and Alzheimer's.
She is survived by her husband of almost 64 years, Morton Silverstone.
Her children Lesley Silverstone (John Belzer), Stanley Silverstone (Barbara), Elliot Silverstone, and Denise Silverstone (Shawn Pegg).
Her grandchildren Jonah, William, Justin, and Justice.
Doreen is also survived by her brother, Morton Cohen (Shane), many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Doreen was an exceptional teacher in the public schools and at Holy Blossom Temple religious school.
She enjoyed attending theater and classical music concerts with Morton, loved reading, mahjong, and spending time with family and friends.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 16, 2020
Memorial contributions in her memory may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Toronto.
