PING, Irwin Yee - It is with heavy hearts, the family announces Irwin’s untimely death.
Irwin was never comfortable being the centre of attention.
Behind his facade of smiles and jokes, was a serious devout Catholic, deep family values and genuine compassion for the people in his life.
He was acutely sensitive and always readily available to support the family in important matters.
Irwin was unselfish, kind, witty, and unfailingly generous and trustworthy.
He never wished to impose himself on anyone. He was a good person.
He was also a loving Uncle to all the kids in the family and he always remembered them on their birthdays, Christmases and their special occasions. Then there was his hidden gem of talent; during the span of years, a lucky few received his letters enclosed with beautiful detailed Beatrix Potter drawings that took hours of his time.
May he rest in eternal peace.
He will be cremated and a Church Funeral Service will be held for him. The Catholic Church was an important aspect of his life. This will be his last Mass attendance. His ashes will be buried with his mother and sister in N.D.D.N. Cemetery in Montreal.
The Funeral Service will be held Monday, July 27, 2020 at 10 a.m. at Holy Rosary Church, 354 St. Clair Avenue West, Toronto, M5P 1N4.
