WHELAN, Matthew Joseph - (July 11, 1991 - July 22, 2020) -
It is with great sadness the Whelan family announces the sudden and tragic passing of Matthew.
Matthew will be forever remembered by his mother Martina , his father Arthur, his brother Adam, as well as his many aunts, uncles and cousins here and overseas.
He will also be remembered and missed by all his extended family, a vast group of amazing individuals, as everyone Matthew loved he considered family.
Friends and family may visit on Sunday, July 26 from 1:00 to 4:00 pm and 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Ridley Funeral Home, 3080 Lakeshore Blvd W., Etobicoke. A funeral service will take place in the chapel on Monday, July 27 at 11:00 am.
Please note: due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the capacity of the funeral home’s facilities is limited. Those wishing to attend the visitation may have to wait in line before being admitted, and those who wish to attend the funeral service may not be admitted to the chapel if it is full. All attendees will be expected to wear a mask and comply with social distancing guidelines.
In lieu of flowers donations in Matthew’s honour to The Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
