Craig HelenCRAIG, Helen Francis (nee Millar) - Daughter, sister, friend, wife, mother, grandmother, warrior.

It is with great sadness that the family of Helen Frances Craig (nee Millar) announces her passing on July 31, 2020 after a brave battle with lung cancer.

Helen, beloved daughter of Doreen and (the late) Ronald Millar, was born and lived her life in the Toronto area.

She will be lovingly missed by her husband of 33 years, John, and their children Kyle (Amanda) and Brittney (Landon) and her precious granddaughter Olivia.

Helen enjoyed life and spending time with family and friends and was a favourite aunt to many nieces and nephews. She will be lovingly remembered by her sister Patty (Rick), brothers Gary (Loreto) and Andrew (Cyndi) and her sister-in-law Kathleen (Mark) Faulkner. She will be fondly remembered by long-time friends Lisa Sullivan and Gord (Joanne) Driscoll.

Helen was a selfless, loving person who loved to help everyone. She received the Award for Merit by LAMP Community Centre in 2013 and the Award for Excellence, as voted by her JobStart peers, in 2017 for her work to improve her community.

The family would like to thank the Dorothy Ley Hospice for their care and compassion and specifically Dr. Salvo and her palliative care team for helping to make Helen’s life a little easier.

Visitation and Service arrangements (WITH RESTRICTIONS due to the Covid pandemic) are entrusted with Ridley Funeral Home, Etobicoke. Check with the funeral home for details.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Dorothy Ley Hospice.
