Dhanda SurajDHANDA, Suraj Parkash - March 21, 1930 – August 3, 2020 (90 years young).

Our beloved father, Mr. Suraj Parkash Dhanda, was born on March 21, 1930 in Jagaron, India. The youngest of 6 siblings, he went to RK high school where he successfully completed his graduation. Professionally he excelled in the field of life Insurance.

In 1952 he happily married and started a wonderful family of 7 children with his wife. His children often would call him “Papaji” where he famously got this nickname.

In 1980 Papaji moved to Canada and started many successful businesses with his children.

Papaji was very curious by nature to learn how everything works. He enjoyed learning and reading about mechanical engineering, electronics, the human body and had a great inclination towards homeopathic medicine.

As a loving and caring human, he loved his family and siblings dearly. He was always there to support anyone that was in need and was often the first to volunteer.

His family and friends will always remember him for his devotion to the community (Sant Nirankari Mission) and his nature of always doing good deeds. He did everything in life with a smile on his face and laughter in his heart. There was never a challenge that Papaji could not solve.

His happy-go-lucky nature is what attracted everyone to his aura. The memories left behind are ones those young and old that knew him will always cherish.

He lived his life to the fullest and inspired everyone to do the same. Survived by his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren; his passing is not one to mourn but a celebration of the incredible life he lived.

Arrangements with Chapel Ridge Funeral Home, Markham.
