Vellozo AlbanVELLOZO, Alban Aaron - Alban Aaron Vellozo, a.k.a Mr. Fixit, born June 22, 1935 and passed away on August 6th, 2020.

He was a loving husband to Maryanne Vellozo (Deceased 2005), and father of Ivan and Salima Vellozo (nee Valji) and Micaela Vellozo.

As a youngest of six siblings, he grew up on a farm playing with his pet dogs and Cousin Joe. As a ‘friend to everyone’, Alban enjoyed his life and took every opportunity to make people laugh.

He enjoyed a good drink which made his jokes even better and bowling with his buddies was a highlight in his week. Playing Rummycub and calling out bingo numbers showcased his talents for making up one liners on the spot (i.e. two little duckies – 22) His other superpower was as a ‘magician’ to toddlers. Using his famous tricks of the handkerchief jumping mouse, disappearing coin, and paper butterfly, Alban had an uncanny ability to entertain kids for hours.

He enjoyed his work to the fullest. As an employee of KESC (Karachi Electric Supply Company) and then Peek Freans cookies, he relished in his work and abilities to make helpful gadgets for all his friends and family. If you ever needed to have some electrical work done, to build a shelf, or fix an electrical appliance, you called Alban. So next time you need some electrical help, think of Alban, he might still be able to help.

Please note: In lieu of flowers, feel free to make a donation to Parkinson Canada.
