FU, David Ding-Yeh - It is with incredibly heavy hearts that we announce the passing of David on Sunday, September 13, 2020, in his 69th year.
David passed peacefully at Mississauga’s Trillium Hospital with his immediate loved ones by his side.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 41 years, Margaret, his precious daughters, Evelyn (Clinton) and Kimberly (Michael), his grandsons Ethan and Miles, his sister Pauline, his brother Ding-Chen (Alicia), as well as a multitude of in-laws, nieces, nephews, colleagues, and friends who celebrate the tremendous life that he lived.
David was predeceased by his parents and brother, Ding-Zheng (Judy).
His work took him all over the world and with that, it gave him the ability to touch many lives along the way. His silent generosity and the contributions he made to countless people will continue to be felt well beyond his passing.
However, the greatest part of his legacy will always be his family. As a shining example of a true patriarch, David never swayed in his role to provide for and protect his loved ones, starting with his wife and daughters. He reveled in the simple joy of watching his children and grandchildren grow into strong, likeminded individuals and made clear that this was his greatest achievement.
All who knew him will remember him as a jovial, principled, determined, and passionate man who always believed that the success of a person’s life is measured by the joy of its experiences.
Special thanks to the medical staff at Trillium Hospital for all of their support during this difficult time.
PRIVATE - Family only service.
In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the Trillium Health Partners Foundation or the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation.
