Quaranta MariaQUARANTA, Maria - Maria Quaranta was born on September 25, 1946 in Pizzoni, V.V, Italy and passed away on September 16, 2020 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada in her 74th year.

Beloved wife of Antonino for 53 years.

She is the loving Mother of Francesca (Felice), Giuseppe (Tara), Rosario (Norm) and Salvatore (Mary-Catherine).

Cherished Grandmother of Makayla, Austin, Sarah, Angelise and Christian.

She will be loved, deeply missed and forever remembered by all of her family and friends.

Family and friends may visit at the Jerrett Funeral Home, 1141 St. Clair Ave. W. (1 block east of Dufferin), Toronto on Sunday, September 20th from 2-4pm and 6-9pm.

The Funeral Mass will be Monday, September 21st at 9:30am at St. Anthony’s Church, 1037 Bloor St. W. Entombment to follow at Westminster Cemetery, 5830 Bathurst St. (north of Finch).

COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS The Bereavement Authority of Ontario has mandated: • Permitted gathering sizes inside a building for funeral visitation and chapel services, will be up to 30% of the maximum room capacities (excluding funeral staff) while maintaining the six foot physical distancing rule. •To ensure safety and minimize potential spread of COVID-19, this Registrar’s Directive sets new restrictions for gatherings at cemeteries within those three public health unit boundaries, effective Monday, Sept. 21: Cemeteries within the boundaries of the Ottawa, Peel and Toronto public health units must limit attendance to a maximum of 25 people (not counting funeral staff) at all attendances, funerals, visitations, funeral receptions, and graveside services on cemetery property. •Further to the Registrar’s Guidance issued on June 15, 2020, wearing masks or face coverings is mandatory for all persons (funeral staff and attendees) inside all funeral establishments or any other indoor setting where a funeral or visitation is held. The Funeral Home staff will be responsible for monitoring these numbers and will be collecting contact information from each visitor, as per the Health Authority’s guidelines.
